Bio:

Jeanne Dueber SL (July 14, 1937–Jan. 25, 2026) had been the resident artist at the Loretto Motherhouse since 1978. A renowned sculptor and multimedia artist, Jeanne is known for using natural materials to explore spirituality, faith and the human figure. She has shown her work in more than 100 exhibitions across the United States.

“My work continues to be organic and, more specifically, rooted in the human figure. However, I frequently stay at the cutting edge of the purely abstract and the real, sometimes only hinting at the more objective shape.” -Jeanne Dueber
